MPM En El Track

Michael Paul Mejía Rosario, known professionally as MPM En El Track (also billed as MPM on the Tracks), built his profile in the Dominican Republic’s urban scene as a producer and songwriter connected to dembow and trap. He began producing in 2011 while studying and working, then pushed deeper into full-time production as his network expanded. In 2016, his name started circulating more widely after he co-produced Black Jonas Point’s “Como la primera vez” alongside Jay Lion Beats, and he kept adding credits in the following years, including creating the instrumental for Shelow Shaq’s “El mejor” in 2018. By 2020, he had taken part in Don Omar’s Sugar Cream camp and was being linked in Dominican press to collaborations and studio work in the orbit of artists such as Tokischa, Shadow Blow, Químico Ultramega, Rochy RD, Yomel el Meloso, Haraca Kiko, Tivi Gunz, Lil Mosey, and Malú Trevejo, while also being described as the official producer for Ely la Bella’s recording plans at the time. In 2022, he drew mainstream brand visibility when he created and performed on “El Coro de la Navidad,” a dembow built for Cerveza Presidente’s campaign work (developed with producer Mayito and creative Che Muñoz). Alongside his behind-the-scenes catalog, MPM En El Track also released music under his own name, including “Cristo Rey (Money Money Remix)” (2016), “Calentón (Remix)” (2021) and “Cardíaco” (2021), later appearing on “Haciendo Tranza” (2022). He then ramped up his solo and collaborative singles run with “Del H Para El RR,” “Quienes Son,” “Black List,” and “En Silencio Josiamos” (all 2024), before a heavier 2025 stretch that included “Navego,” “Damela,” “Comprando Hierro Viejo,” “Nada Existe,” “Que Me Detonen,” and the rework “Donde Estabas (Afro House Remix).”
