Mk.gee

Born on 27 September 1996 in Somers Point, New Jersey, Michael Todd Gordon (aka mk.gee) is an avant-rock singer-songwriter and producer whose genre-blurring sound combines experimental pop, indie rock, soft-rock and alt-R&B. Having started his music career in the late 2010s, mk.gee released his debut single in 2017, the hypnagogic "I Know How You Get" and later put himself on the map with his debut mixtape A Museum of Contradiction, released in 2020 through IAMSOUND and Interscope. He continued to catch a buzz with singles such as "How Many Miles," "Are You Looking Up," and "You Got It," showcasing his ability to craft emotionally resonant pieces from unconventional soundscapes. 2024 saw the release of his critically acclaimed debut full-length Two Star & the Dream Police, which was co-produced by Dijon Duenas, a soul artist with whom he had previously collaborated as a guitarist in 2021.
