MC Don Juan

Matheus Wallace Mendonça da Cruz, born 3 January 2001 in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil, is a Brazilian rapper and singer known professionally as MC Don Juan. He began performing at age eleven, and at fourteen in 2015 he adopted his stage name and released his first national hit, "Me Amarro na Noite", which gained wide attention through a KondZilla‑produced video. In 2016 he followed up with the single "Oh Novinha", which entered the streaming charts in Brazil and was featured in the television series A Força do Querer; the track accumulated over 75 million views on YouTube. The artist continued to release singles such as "A Gente Brigou" and "Lei do Retorno" (the latter featuring MC Hariel) before launching his debut EP Summer (EP 1) on 5 November 2021, followed by Summer (EP 2) on 26 November 2021. His debut studio album, Vou Além, was issued on 8 May 2020, and in September 2022 he released 7 Chaves. In February 2024 he added As Melhores do MC Don Juan to his catalog. 2025 saw the release of Nem Aí Pra Nada, a 12-track album produced and directed by Warner Music Brasil and GR6 that brought in guest appearances from MC Luuky, MC Brinquedo, MC Kadinho, MC Muka, MC Davi and Allan, with production credits including DJ Kotim, DJ Felipe Maia, DJ Kaioken and Trapaulo.
