First known as DJ Daemon, Madeon rose to prominence in 2010 with a remix of âThe Islandâ by the Australian drum-and-bass group Pendulum. After releasing the 2011 mashup âPop Cultureâ âin which he blended nearly thirty-nine tracks into three minutesâMadeon set out to create his own music. âIcarusâ was a huge hit in the UK in February 2012, followed by âFinaleâ in July of the same year. Madeon capitalized on this rapid rise to fame to perform a series of prestigious live shows, including an opening act for Swedish House Mafia in Milton Keynes, England. Madeonâs debut album, *Adventure*, was released in March 2015.
