Hugo Pierre Leclercq, born May 30, 1994 in Nantes, Loire‑Atlantique, France, is a French electronic music producer, DJ, songwriter and singer who emerged on the scene at age 17 with the viral mash‑up "Pop Culture", a real‑time mix of 39 songs performed on a Novation Launchpad that attracted millions of views. After releasing the single "Icarus" through his own label Popcultur and the EP The City in 2012, Madeon signed with major labels including Columbia and Sony and released his debut album Adventure in 2015, supported by a 22‑stop North American tour that earned the album a peak at number 43 on the US Billboard 200 and Number 1 on the US Dance/Electronic Albums chart. In 2016 he collaborated with Porter Robinson on "Shelter", leading to a joint Shelter Live Tour, and in 2019 he unveiled his second album Good Faith, which was nominated for a 2021 Grammy for Best Electronic Album and inaugurated a touring residency that expanded into Good Faith Forever in 2021–2023. After a series of singles and collaborations in 2024, Madeon returned with his third album Victory, released on June 26, 2026, featuring viral hits "Hi!", "Car Crash Baby", "Fire Away", and "Red Jacket."
