LMC, a British electronic music trio consisting of producers Lee Monteverde, Matt Cadman and Cris Nuttall, formed in the United Kingdom. The group gained significant attention with their debut single "Take Me to the Clouds Above", released on January 26, 2004. This track featured vocals from Rachel McFarland and interpolated Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know" alongside a sample from U2's "With or Without You". The song topped the UK Singles Chart in February 2004, selling 300,000 copies, and reached top positions in Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. LMC followed up with several EPs including You Get What You Give (2006), Grapevine (2007), and Little Bird (2007). The group also collaborated on notable remixes for artists such as Scooter, Erasure, Dannii Minogue, Lasgo, Robert Palmer, and Shania Twain. In 2005, LMC worked with mashup artists Trick Babies to produce a cover version of Annie Lennox's "Little Bird", which was released as a 12" single. The group continued their success with the remake of "You Get What You Give" once again featuring McFarland and sampling The New Radicals, charting at number 30 in 2006.
