Jor'Dan Armstrong

A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Jor'dan Armstrong (born October 14, 1988) is a Christian R&B artist. He grew up singing in church, and his mother, a famous singer in the city, inspired his desire to perform in public. He went on to sing in various churches, making him a star from an early age. A singer, songwriter and producer, Armstrong got his start in the music industry behind the scenes, working for the likes of Hamilton Park and Adrian Marcel, before being sought out by veteran artists such as Tyrese and Johnny Gill. As a solo artist, he began building his discography in 2009. His independent albums include Champion (2009), Stronger (2012) and 52 Weeks of Summer (2015). He has also released Billboard Top 20 EPs Confident (2016), Vibes (2017) and 2018's BLSD (short for "Blessed") project, which came to prominence with three releases within weeks of each other, culminating in the namesake album BLSD. Meanwhile, Jor'dan Armstrong has collaborated with Black Knight, Canton Jones, Uncle Reece, Group 1 Crew, Kierra Sheard, 1KPhew and Da' T.R.U.T.H, to name but a few. After the release of the single "My God" in 2021 came the Church Girls Love R&B album (2022), declined the following year in a cappella and instrumental versions, before its deluxe edition in 2024, following the release of the Merry Christmas album (late 2023). 2025 saw the release of the single "The Light", ranked #30 on the Top Gospel Airplay chart.
