A songwriter as discreet as he is unpredictable, Joe Henry made his name with the country album Short Man's Room (1992). After 2003's somber Tiny Voices and 2007's romantic Civilians, Blood from Stars was released in 2009. Madonna's brother-in-law is also a producer.
