James Hersey

James Hersey, born James Hersey on 15 July 1988 in Gmunden, Austria, is an Austrian‑American singer who emerged in the electronic‑pop scene. He first attracted attention with the self‑titled EP James Hersey (2011), followed by the 2012 release Twelve. In 2015 he issued the album Clarity, featuring the track "Coming Over" that, after a remix by Filous, entered the Ö3 Austria Top 40 and German charts. The same year the song "What I’ve Done" was released, and the 2014 single "Juliet" added to his growing catalogue. In 2016, "Miss You" achieved chart positions in Austria and Germany, later earning gold certifications in Italy (April 2017) and Canada (June 2017). The 2016 remix of "Coming Over" by Dillon Francis and Kygo reached Number 1 on the U.S. Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. Hersey continued with the album Clarity (2015) and maintained an active touring schedule across Austria and Germany, solidifying his presence in the European electropop landscape.
