HONNE

Honne, the UK electronic music duo comprising singer and guitarist Andy Clutterbuck and keyboardist and singer James Hatcher, have established a soulful foothold on the global electronic scene since their formation in 2014. Named after the Japanese term for "true feelings," the pair met at university and released their debut single, "Warm on a Cold Night," in September 2014 via Super Recordings, showcasing their synth-driven electronic soul sound. Several other EPs preceded the release of their debut LP in 2016, also called Warm on a Cold Night, which was propelled by the title track and singles "Someone That Loves You" and "Good Together." The LP landed at number 37 on the UK Albums Chart and cleared the path for their sophomore effort Love Me/Love Me Not, which featured collaborations with Anna of the North, Georgia, and others. In 2021, Honne released their third album Let's Just Say the World Ended a Week from Now, What Would You Do? which featured collaborations with Pink Sweat$, Khalid, and Sofía Valdés. Singles such as 2024's offering "Imaginary" and "Girl in the Orchestra" followed, before the release of their fourth full-length, Ouch, in September 2024. In 2026, Honne celebrated their 10th anniversary with Honne - 10, featuring new versions of their songs, notably with Anna of the North, Izzy Bizu, Niki and Beka.
