Galantis

Galantis is an electro-house and dance-pop music project founded in 2012 by the two Swedes Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklöw. Christian Karlsson has previously worked as a producer under the name Bloodshy with Jennifer Lopez, Madonna and Britney Spears and even won a Grammy for the song "Toxic" in 2005. Linus Eklöw is also known as a DJ and producer under the name Style of Eye even before Galantis and is involved in the international hit "I Love It" by Icona Pop. From 2012, the two musicians released under the project name Galantis and celebrated their debut with the track "Jumbo". Canadian Trak is also involved in the song. In the fall of 2014, Galantis released their first major hit with the song "Runaway (U & I)". The single reached number 15 in the US dance/electronic charts and also made it into the charts in France, Holland and German-speaking countries. Two more singles, "Gold Dust" and "Peanut Butter Jelly", followed in spring 2015. The songs celebrate success in the dance charts in the USA and Europe. The debut album Pharmacy remains in the Swedish, American and British album charts in 2015. in 2017, the track "Hunter" was released as the lead single from their second studio album The Aviary and reached the single charts in several European countries. After many other singles, it was not until the collaboration with OneRepublic for the track "Bones" in early 2019 that it became a major international hit again. The album Church is released on February 7, 2020. It contains all the singles released so far in 2019 and 2020. The Bali Bandits are involved in the production. Galantis collaborates with David Guetta and Little Mix for "Heartbreak Anthem" in 2021. The album Rx is released in May 2024. The album single "One Cry" reaches number 40 in the US Radio Dance & Mix Show Song Charts together with Rosa Linn.
