Jack's Mannequin, an American rock band from Orange County, California, was formed in 2004 by Andrew McMahon. The group emerged after Andrew McMahon, then a member of Something Corporate, recorded "Locked Door" and decided to pursue a solo project due to its distinct style. Jack's Mannequin signed with Maverick Records and released their debut album Everything in Transit in August 2005, which reached Number 37 on the Billboard 200. The band's second album, The Glass Passenger, was published by Sire Records in September 2008 and debuted at Number eight on the Billboard 200. Notable singles include "The Resolution" (2008) and "My Racing Thoughts" (2011). Jack's Mannequin disbanded in 2012, with a final concert held in November of that year. The band reunited briefly in 2016 for the Ten Years in Transit tour, then in 2024 for the Andrew McMahonâs Holiday from Real Cruise. Reformed for a 20th anniversary tour, Jack's Mannequin returned to the studio for the recording of the Everything in Transit: Strings Attached EP, an orchestral version of the debut album released in August 2025.
