Hunter as a Horse

Comprising South African-born singer and guitarist Mia van Wyk and British producer, keyboardist and programmer Paul Gala, Hunter as a Horse formed in London in 2013. Combining dark or cosmic lyrics with cinematically atmospheric electronic music carried by a veiled voice, the duo recorded the diptych The Two Magics, Vol. 1 (2016) and The Two Magics, Vol. 2 (2017), followed by the other EPs Walk with Fire (2019), The Lost Tapes (2024) and Anathema (2025), including the track "To Be Evil", listed in the US Lyricfind Top 25.
