Hitorie

Hitorie was a Japanese rock band formed in 2011 by vocalist and guitarist wowaka, along with bassist Ygarshy and drummer Yumao. The group debuted with the indie EP Roomsick Girls Escape and followed with non-fiction four in 2013. Guitarist Shinoda joined in 2012. They signed with Sony Music Japan in 2014 and released the single "Senseless Wonder", which became the major debut of the band. Their first full-length album Wonder and Wonder (2014) established their presence. In 2015 the compilation Roomsick Girls Escape/non-fiction four was released. The band released Imaginary Monofiction (2014), Monochrono Entrance (2015), and the mini-album ai/SOlate (2017). Their single "One Me Two Hearts" (2016) served as the opening for the anime Divine Gate. The 2018 single "Polaris" was used as an ending theme for the anime Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. In 2017 the group released the digital single "Unknown Mother-Goose". Following wowaka's death in 2019, Shinoda became the band's vocalist. The band continued touring with the Roomsick Girls Escape 10 Years Later tour in 2023 and the Roomsick Girls Escape 10 Years Later TOUR in 2023. In 2024 they released "SENSE-LESS WONDER AFTER 10 YEARS" as a commemorative single. Later releases include "NOTOK" (2024) and the compilation Friend Chord (2025) which featured unreleased tracks by the late producer wowaka.
