Hiroji Miyamoto

Hiroji Miyamoto, born 12 June 1966 in Kita, Tokyo, is a Japanese J‑pop singer whose career began in the late 2010s after years of private vocal training and local performances; his debut single, "The Narrow Way", was released on 2 October 2018 and introduced him to a growing audience. Over the next few years he followed with a string of singles-"Fuyu No Hana" (12 February 2019), "Wareraga Shinjidai" (2 May 2019), "Do You Remember?" (23 October 2019), "Hallelujah" (13 February 2020), "Akai Sweet Pea" (9 November 2020) and "Anata" (26 October 2020)-each demonstrating a blend of traditional Japanese melodic sensibilities with contemporary pop production. His first studio album, Doppo., debuted on 4 March 2020, followed by Romance on 18 November 2020, JUUOUMUJIN on 13 October 2021, and Aki No Hi Ni on 23 November 2022, marking a steady expansion of his discography. Miyamoto’s work received critical attention for its lyrical introspection and melodic craftsmanship, and his releases charted within Japan’s digital sales platforms, reinforcing his position in the genre. In recent years he toured regionally, collaborated with background vocalists such as Elephant Kashimashi, and continued to release music that resonates with listeners seeking emotive J‑pop narratives, solidifying his legacy within contemporary Japanese music.
