Hellsongs

Hellsongs, a Swedish acoustic band formed in 2004 by Harriet Ohlsson, Johan Bringhed, and Kalle, gained recognition when their cover of Iron Maiden's "Run to the Hills" was featured on Sveriges Radio P3’s Rundgång in 2005. Their debut EP Lounge was released in 2006, followed by their first full-length album, Hymns in the Key of 666, which reached number nine on the Swedish charts in early 2008. In 2010, Hellsongs released their second album, Minor Misdemeanors. The band disbanded in March 2011 after lead singer Siri Bergnéhr suffered a minor stroke. They reunited in 2012 with My Engström-Renman on vocals and released These are Evil Times the next year. In September 2023, they released their first new single in almost a decade, a cover of "Killing in the Name" by Rage Against the Machine. Their album, The Return Of The Hellsingers, was released in 2024.
