Green Velvet

Known alternately as Cajmere and Green Velvet, Curtis Jones (b. 1967) is an American producer, singer and composer of electronic house music. He began to make a name for himself in 1991 with the release of his first EP, Underground Goodies, before going on to make a name for himself in 1993, notably by collaborating with singer Dajae on the hit " Brighter Days ". This was followed by a prolific career punctuated by four studio albums under the name Green Velvet, and a flurry of EPs and remixes (Madona, Basement Jaxx, etc.). An anthology compiling his twenty-year career was published in 2012: Ony 4 U: The Sound of Cajmere and Cajual Records 1992-2012.
