Claude VonStroke is a producer and DJ based in San Francisco, California. Although he draws his inspiration from his hometown, Claude VonStroke is better known in Europe than in the United States. His track "Deep Throat" reached No. 1 in Italy, Belgium and Germany in 2006. The track was included on the album Beware of the Bird released the same year. Emulating new house sounds à la Daft Punk, Claude VonStroke released Bird Brain in 2009.
