Hailing from Sweden, where they formed in 1996, heavy metal and doom metal band Grand Magus have released eight albums since their first in 2001, with an impressive regularity of one every two years. From Grand Magus to 2016's Sword Songs , the band has changed musicians several times without ever upsetting its musical formula, ensuring a strong identity recognized by critics and fans alike, who regularly associate them with bands such as Black Sabbath, Manowar or Judas Priest.
