Global Deejays

Global Deejays, an Austrian electronic duo formed in 2004, comprised Konrad Schreyvogl (DJ Taylor) and Florian Schreyvogl (FLOw) after the departure of Mikkel Christensen in 2008; both were born in Austria in 2004, with Konrad’s exact birth date not publicly documented. Their first commercial breakthrough arrived with the single "What A Feeling" on 26 April 2005, followed by the album What A Feeling released 11 April 2005, which incorporated a sample of "Flashdance" and gained traction on club charts. The group continued to release a steady stream of singles and albums, including Everybody’s Free (2007) and Freakin' Out (2011), while collaborating with artists such as Rozalla and Ida Corr; "Hey Girl (Shake It)" was issued in 2018 and achieved significant radio play. Global Deejays signed with Superstar Recordings, and their 2005 EP Stars On 45 earned an MTV Award and the Eska award later that year, cementing their status in European dance music. The duo remained active through 2019 with releases like Kids (Rework), maintaining a presence on dance charts and touring across Europe, before entering an indefinite hiatus in the early 2020s; no formal disbandment announcement or death has been reported.
