Formed in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, in 2012, Glass Caves have forged a solid reputation on stage in the north of England, with their buzzing guitar riffs and the unison vocal harmonies of their four members. Comprising Matt Hallas (vocals), Connor Thorpe (guitar, vocals), Will Groves (bass) and Elliot Fletcher (drums), the traditionally British quartet released their debut album Alive in 2014 on the Tri-Tone label, and opened for Metronomy, Ghostpoet and The Sherlocks, racking up festival appearances. Meanwhile, release EPs I Do (2018), Acoustic (2020) and a mini-compilation, B-Sides & Rarities (2020), followed by A Spin Around the Sun (2020). Released in limited edition and vinyl format only, the mini-album Trilogy saw the light of day in 2019 under the band's new label, Scruff Off the Neck, as did the official second album, Back to Earth (2025), preceding a new tour across the UK.
