Red Rum Club

Liverpool indie-rockers Red Rum Club formed in 2016 and comprises Francis Doran (lead vocals), Tom Williams (guitar, backing vocals), Michael McDermott (guitar/backing vocals), Simon Hepworth (bass), Neil Lawson (drums/percussion), and Joe Corby (trumpet). The band dropped their statement-making debut LP Matador in 2019 and continued to gather with their sophomore effort, The Hollow of Humdrum, in 2020. The LP cemented their status as one of the UK's most exciting new acts, with tracks like "Kids Addicted" and "Drown" capturing their best side. Red Rum Club's third album How to Steal the World arrived in 2021 while 2024 ushered in the release of their fourth album Western Approaches, which was named after an old naval dock in Liverpool, and debuted at number 8 on the UK Albums chart. Following the release, Red Rum Club embarked on an extensive touring schedule. They performed at major UK festivals, including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, and Y Not Festival. In April 2025, they headlined their biggest hometown show at Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool, to an audience of 11,000 fans. This performance was part of their European tour, which included stops in Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Germany. Additionally, they supported The Wombats on their North American tour in the autumn of 2023 and are set to join them again in the fall of 2025. After the release of "Hole in My Home" in 2024 followed singles "Amerian Nights & English Mornings", and "Crush, TX" in 2025, ahead of the fifth full-length Buck (2025), redefying their sound with some Americana influences.
