Frauenarzt

Vincento de Marcos aka Frauenarzt was born on October 18, 1978 in Berlin-Tempelhof. He is a German hardcore rapper with sexually explicit lyrics who started his rap career in the late 90s. Together with DJ Manny Marc, Frauenarzt founded the Bassboxxx label in 1998 and put together a collective of Berlin underground rappers called Bass Crew, which included MC Basstard, King Orgasmus, Mach One and MC Bogy, and with which German rap superstar Bushido was also loosely associated for a time. The first release on Bassboxxx is BC (1999), a Frauenarzt cassette featuring several of his Bass Crew colleagues. Later releases by Frauenarzt on Bassboxx are Untergrund Solo (2000), TangaTanga (2000) and Porno Party (2002). The highlights of his time with the label in the late 90s and early 2000s are summarized on Bassboxxx: Greatest Hits 1998-2003 (2003). Frauenarzt became even better known as a hardcore rapper in the mid-2000s when Porno Mafia (2006), a joint album with King Orgasmus, was confiscated by the German authorities due to its explicit content. The controversy sparks interest in his subsequent solo album Dr. Sex (2007). Frauenarzt and Manny Marc founded a new label, Atzen Musik, together with Kontor Records and released a sampler with various artists, Atzen Musik, Vol. 1 (2008), from which the hit singles "Florida Lady" and "Das Geht Ab" emerged, the latter a top ten hit in 2009. 2010 he released the EP Disco Pogo. The album Mutterficker and the single "Ketten Raus Kragen Hoch" followed in 2016. Gott (2017) was released shortly afterwards and the single "Extasy" in 2021.
