Genetikk

Genetikk is a German hip-hop crew founded in 2009. In the beginning, it mainly consisted of the rapper Kappa and the producer Sikk. Both are from Saarbrücken and have known each other since their school days. In October 2010, Genetikk released their debut album Foetus. The second album Voodoozirkus followed in February 2012, and Genetikk achieved their first number 1 success in the German album charts with the album D.N.A., which was released in 2013. The album also reached the top 10 in Switzerland and Austria. Genetikk subsequently expanded from a duo to a group with up to seven members. The album Achter Tag, released in 2015, climbs to the top of the charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and achieves gold status. Another album, Fukk Genetikk, followed in 2016. Two years later, Genetikk released two albums, D.N.A.2 and Y.A.L.A, with the latter again reaching number 1 in Germany. The 2021 album MDNA also became a number 1 success in Germany. At the end of 2023, Genetikk released another album, Sacrifice, which reached number 19 in the German charts. Another studio album, 5407, follows in September 2025. The album climbs to number 33 in Germany.
