Fake Blood

Theo Keating, born in London, is an English producer and DJ best known for his alter‑ego Fake Blood. He first gained attention as one half of the Wiseguys, alongside Paul Eve, with tracks such as "Start the Commotion" and "Ooh La La" that were later featured in Mitsubishi and Budweiser commercials. In 2009 Keating released the single "I Think I Like It" under the Fake Blood name, followed by the EP Fix Your Accent and a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix episode. He announced a new EP in May 2012, and in July the full-length album Cells was scheduled for release; the album debuted on 12 November 2012 through Different Recordings, accompanied by singles "Yes/No" and "All in the Blink". Subsequent releases include the compilation Fabriclive 69 (2013), and singles such as "Waiting" (2014) and "The Fear / Garms" (2019). Keating continues to collaborate, notably with Simon William Lord in the duo Black Ghosts, while maintaining a presence in the electronic music scene.
