EXO-M

EXO-M, a subgroup of K-pop group EXO, was formed in 2011 under SM Entertainment. The subgroup initially consisted of Xiumin, Chen, Lay, Kris, Luhan, and Tao. They debuted in 2012 with the EP Mama, which included the hit single "Mama." Their first pre-debut single "What Is Love" was released in January 2012, followed by "History" in March of the same year. EXO-M primarily performed in Mandarin and were part of a larger strategy to promote K-pop in China. The group's final EP Overdose was released on May 7, 2014. Kris left the group in July 2014, Luhan in October 2014, and Tao in August 2015, effectively disbanding EXO-M.
