Ella Eyre

British R&B and pop singer Ella Eyre was born Ella Mary McMahon in London on April 1, 1994. She grew up in the west of the English capital and began taking dance lessons at the age of four. During her time at a boarding school in Somerset, she discovered her love of the stage and went on to study acting at the BRIT School in Croydon. During her studies, Ella Ayre began making music and started her career as a singer. In 2012, the artist sang in two songs by the British indie rock band Bastille. In 2013, she contributed vocals to the song "Waiting All Night" by Rudimental and subsequently toured England with the music collective. "Waiting All Night" reached the top of the charts in the UK, number 37 in Austria and number 67 in Switzerland. After further collaborations with Naughty Boy and Tinie Tempah, Ella Eyre released her debut EP Deeper at the end of 2013. The single of the same name reached number 72 in the UK charts. This was followed in 2014 by the singles "If I Go" and "Comeback", which reached number 16 and 12 in the UK charts respectively. In the same year, she won the BRIT Award and the MOBO Award, the latter of which she also received in 2015. Her debut album Feline was released in August 2015, peaking at number 4 in the UK and number 70 in Switzerland. Between March 2014 and November 2015, the singer gave concerts in the UK and Ireland on her Feline Tour. In 2018, she released the hits "Answerphone" with Banx & Ranx and Yxng Bane (number 5 in the UK charts) and "Just Got Paid" (number 11 in the UK charts). In 2020, she released the single "Don't You Want Me". After a short break, Ella Eyre returns with the studio album Everything, In Time in fall 2025.
