Dixie D’Amelio

Dixie D’Amelio (born on August 12, 2001) is an American singer, actress, social media star, and influencer who rose to prominence after her videos went viral on TikTok. The sister of TikToker Charli D’Amelio, she started uploading dance videos to her TikTok account in 2019, accumulating more than 20 million followers in a very short amount of time. She is also a member of The Hype House, a collective of influencers from different social media platforms located in Los Angeles, California. Following an appearance in Brat TV’s Attaway General, D’Amelio kicked off her music career by releasing the upbeat single “Be Happy” in June, 2020. Preceded by an a capella version that was uploaded to her TikTok account, the song tackled mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic and quickly went viral on social media. Produced by Christian Medice and co-written with a team of top-tier pop songwriters, the single proved quite successful and climbed up to Number 8 on New Zealand’s Hot Singles chart.
