Larray

Larri Yemus Merritt (born on July 22, 1998), better known as Larray, is an American singer-songwriter and Internet celebrity from Compton, California. A member of the influential social media collective The Hype House alongside Addison Rae, Charli D’Amelio, and Rae Hudson, Merritt’s teenage-oriented, mostly comedic content has earned him over 18 million followers and subscribers across social media platforms since the creation of his channel in 2015. He launched his music career in 2018 with the novelty song “First Place,” a remix of Tay-K’s “The Race” that peaked at Number 4 on Billboard’s Comedy Digital Tracks chart and followed up with “Last Place” in 2019, reaching Number 8 on the same chart. That year, Merritt also received a nomination for the 9th Streamy Award in the category of Breakout Creator. In 2020, he released the singles “Latina,” “Thanos,” and “Canceled,” which reflected on the trend of cancel culture and climbed to Number 81 on the Billboard Hot 100.
