DEAR KISS

DEAR KISS, a Japanese idol group formed on February 9 2016 in Japan, emerged from a lineup that initially comprised Marie Mizuno, Miho Fujimoto, Miiwa Yamasaki, and Rikako Saito, with Saki Shishima joining shortly thereafter; the group’s early training culminated in the release of their debut EP Dearest Dream: First and Best Moment on July 16 2016. Their first single, "Shiny Shy Girl", debuted on November 22 2016, establishing a presence in the idol and pop markets. In 2018, the single "Tameiki no Sekai wa Iranai" was issued. The group signed with Victor Entertainment on January 24 2021, releasing the major‑label debut single "Dance wa Kiss no Yōni, Kiss wa Dance no Yōni" on April 14 2021 and the subsequent single "Happy" on March 16 2022. Line‑up changes continued with the addition of Kasumi Sakuraba and Ruri Hana in March 2023 and the graduation of Rikako Saito in April 2023. DEAR KISS concluded activities on November 22 2024, marking the end of a decade‑long career that saw multiple chart entries and a sustained fanbase within the Japanese idol scene.
