BATTEN GIRLS

Batten Showjo Tai, also known as Batten Shoujo Tai, is a Japanese idol group from the Kyushu region, composed of members born in the 2000s. They are often referred to by their nickname "Bassho" and their fans are affectionately called "Taiin". The group is part of STAR PLANET, which includes other well-known groups like Momoiro Clover Z, Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku, and Chou Tokimeki♡Sendenbu. In 2021, their song "OiSa" became a long hit, and another track, "Watashi, Koi Hajimemashita tte yo!"(2021) won first place in a category at the 10th Idol Music Awards. The group made a significant appearance in 2022 at the SUMMER SONIC" festival, performing on the J-CULTURE STAGE, marking their expansion into larger music events. Their release, "Kuden"(2024) adds to their growing discography, showcasing their evolving musical style and solidifying their presence in the Japanese idol scene. The group's lineup includes members Ai Kiyama, Riko Ueda, Kiina Haruno, Sakura Seta, Rirua Aoi, and Mai Yanagi, each bringing unique talents to the ensemble.
