Dan Snaith (born 29 March 1978 in Dundas, Ontario), the Canadian producer working under the stage names Daphni, Manitoba, and Caribou, is a versatile and influential figure in the electronic music scene. Best known for his unique blend of house, techno, and experimental dance music, Dan Snaith has been a prominent force both as a solo artist and as the mastermind behind the acclaimed project Caribou. Daphni emerged in the late 2010s with Jiaolong, a debut album that showcased his deeper dive into house music, arriving in 2012. The project marked a departure from his more ambient and introspective Caribou works, focusing instead on the dancefloor with hypnotic, disco-infused soundscapes and vibrant production techniques. Over the years, Daphni has continued to evolve his sound with releases like his 2017 fabriclive mix, the soulful house of 2019's Sizzling EP, and his Cherry album (2022). 2025 saw the release of the "Fly Away" singles remixed by Deetron.
