Cartel

Cartel is an American pop‑punk band formed in Conyers, Georgia, in 2003, featuring vocalist and bassist Will Pugh, lead guitarist Joseph Pepper, and rhythm guitarist Nic Hudson. The group first gained attention with the EP The Ransom under The Militia Group, followed by the debut album Chroma (September 20 2005), which included the singles "Say Anything (Else)" and "Honestly", the latter of which was featured in the film John Tucker Must Die. In 2006 Cartel signed to Epic Records and supported New Found Glory on tour before recording their self‑titled album Cartel (August 21 2007) during the MTV experiment Band in a Bubble. The 2009 release Cycles (October 20 2009) produced the single "Let's Go" and was supported by tours with All Time Low and Good Charlotte. After a period of lineup changes and a 2013 release of Collider (March 26 2013), the band continued with acoustic projects and reunion shows, including a 10‑year Chroma tour in 2015. In 2022 the group issued new singles "17" and "The End", and in 2025 announced a re‑recorded Chroma for September, marking the 20th anniversary of their debut.
