BUSTERS

Busters (often stylized as BUSTERS) is a South Korean K-pop all-girl group assembled by media companies Marbling E&M Inc. and JTG Entertainment. Originally composed of performers Cha Min-jung, Kim Min-ji, Myung Hyung-seo, Jung Ji-soo, and Kim Chae-yeon, the band was formed to publicize Monstergram’s TV series Idol Rangers Power Busters and made its debut with the single “Dream On” in 2017. The track “Grapes” followed in 2018 and climbed to Number 36 on the Gaon Singles Chart. In 2019, Minjung and Minji quit the group and were replaced by Kang Ye-seo and Jeon Ji-eun, respectively. That same year, Busters dropped their first EP Pinky Promise, which went to Number 31 in South Korea. Two new members, Takara Yasuda and Jeon Min-ji, were added in 2020 as the group returned with their third single Paeonia, peaking at Number 33 on the domestic charts.
