Ayumu Imazu

Ayumu Imazu, born Ayumu Imazu on 12 May 2000 in Yao, Osaka, is a Japanese J‑pop singer‑songwriter who began dancing at six and later trained at EXPG Osaka. He first gained national attention in February 2021 when "Sukkur" on Japanese TV’s BUZZ‑P highlighted him as a “next‑break” Z‑generation artist. Ayumu Imazu’s first EP, Epiphany, released 19 February 2020, was followed by Waves on 18 September 2020, setting the stage for his official debut single "Juice" on 13 August 2021. Ayumu Imazu issued the full album Pixel on 10 August 2022, adding a digital single "Sunshower" that served as the opening theme for the drama Eternal Yesterday. Collaborations include "Don't Mind Me" with Sota Hanamura (31 March 2023) and "Obsessed (feat. MAX)" (5 April 2024). Ayumu Imazu's single "Obsessed" earned the 66th “Sparkling! Japan Record Awards” Special Planning Award on 30 December 2023. Ayumu Imazu signed with Universal Music Japan/Capitol Records in March 2026, announced a partnership with BMSG on 28 February 2026, and released the CLASSIC album on 13 May 2026.
