Avalon, an American contemporary Christian vocal quartet from Tennessee, was formed in 1995. Avalon's breakthrough came with their self-titled debut album Avalon (1996), followed by the release of "Testify to Love" (1998). The group gained significant recognition for subsequent albums such as In a Different Light (1999) and Oxygen (2001). Avalon received three Grammy nominations for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album and won six GMA Dove Awards, including Inspirational Song of the Year for "Adonai" in 1999. The group's lineup evolved over time, with Janna Long remaining as one of the original members by 2008. Avalon continued to release albums such as Another Time, Another Place: Timeless Christian Classics (2008), Called (2020), and Avalon Worship (Deluxe) (2022). The group rebranded under the name Avalon Worship in 2022.
