Andrzej Piaseczny

Andrzej Tomasz Piaseczny was born on January 6, 1971, in Pionki, Poland. He began his musical journey performing in the Cavatin school band during his childhood. In 1992, Andrzej Tomasz Piaseczny joined the rock band Mafia and participated in various music contests, including the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole. His breakthrough came with the release of Mafia's debut album, Mafia, in November 1993. After leaving Mafia in 1997, Piaseczny embarked on a solo career, releasing his debut solo album Piasek in early 1998. The album featured notable singles such as "Motniej" and "Jeszcze Blisko". In 2001, he represented Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "2 Long", finishing in 20th place out of 23 participants.
