Aliany Garcia

Aliany García (born Aliany Peña García on November 17, 1992, in San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic) built her reputation in the local entertainment scene before releasing music, first working with talent-search companies for film and television and later gaining attention on social media for her commentary on urban music. She made her recording debut in 2017 with the single "Que Lo Que Tu Quiere Coco," which introduced her as a provocative voice in Dominican urbano. In 2018 she consolidated that image with a run of singles including "Quiero Chapia un Pelotero," "Soy un Cuero," "Tin Tan" and other tracks that circulated heavily in clubs and on social media, positioning her in the same dembow and reggaeton circuit as many of her male peers. In 2019 she followed with songs such as "Eso No Se Rompe," "Me Dicen Serpiente," "Mi Viejo" and "Tacaño y Feo," while signing an exclusivity deal with U-Productions Corp to manage her career and announcing plans to moderate some of her lyrics for a broader audience. She expanded her catalog in 2020 with the single "Como un Hombre Se Amarra" and continued releasing material through the early 2020s, adding tracks like "La Lipo," "La Paleta" (both 2021) and the 2022 single "Tu Carcel," confirming her as an active presence in Dominican urban scene.
