Addison Agen

Revealed in 2017 by the TV show The Voice, Addison Agen turned to folk songwriting a few years later. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on March 31, 2001, she reached the final of the 13th season of The Voice in 2017, performing a variety of songs from the repertoires of Labrinth, John Prine and Joni Mitchell. She went on to develop a career as a songwriter, musician and folk performer, moving to Nashville and sharing the stage with artists such as Bob Seger, Gordon Lightfoot and Liz Longley. She performs at festivals such as the Philadelphia Folk Festival, and in 2021 releases her debut album, When the Morning Comes, mixing folk, country, blues and jazz-oriented compositions. The fund-raising album is followed by the formation of a duo called Fielder with Skye Peterson and the release of a series of singles leading to the second album Busy Body (2025).
