Ada Lea

Real name Alexandra Levy, Canadian Ada Lea is an independent singer and musician from Montreal, Quebec. A former visual artist, she blends alternative folk, indie rock and dream pop into introspective, poetic music. Revealed in 2019 with What We Say in Private, an album inspired by a diary, she continues in 2021 with One Hand on the Steering Wheel the Other Sewing a Garden, more structured but just as personal. Signed to Saddle Creek, her sensitive lyrics, sonic experimentation and striking performances have made her an important figure on the contemporary Canadian indie scene. After the EP Notes (2024), her third album When I Paint My Masterpiece (2025) was released, the title of which was inspired by a Bob Dylan song.
