The London-based dance music trio Above and Beyond consists of DJ/producers Tony McGuinness, Jono Grant and Paavo Siljamäki. Formed in 2000, the group rose to prominence in 2006 with the release of their critically acclaimed album Tri-State. It was an extraordinary debut offering and prompted enthusiastic reviews in various DJ publications around the world including the UK's DJ Magazine which gave the album a five star rating. They went on to become an international success, appearing at venues around the globe including one legendary performance on Rio de Janeiro's Barra Beach where it was reported almost a million people showed up. They followed up with albums Group Therapy (2011), We Are All We Need (2015), and Common Ground (2018), continuing also their famous DJ set series Anjunabeats, debuted in 2003 and pursued with a 15th volume in 2020. Issued in 2019, the ambient album Flow State was declined with Flow Sate Meditations in 2020, and Flow State Healing with Nature in 2021. The trio have also recorded under the name Oceanlab which was a collaboration with vocalist Justine Suissa. As well as their recording career the group host a popular radio show. In 2021, they celebrated the 10th anniversary of Group Therapy with the remixes of 10 Years of Group Therapy, followed by the soundtrack for the film The Last Glaciers (2022) and 10 Years of Group Therapy (Part 2) that same year. In 2025 was released Bigger Than All of Us, including songs with Justine Suissa; Zoë Johnston, Malou, and Richard Bedford.
