80purppp

Nathan Oddoye, known professionally as 80purppp, is a Canadian rapper and songwriter from Edmonton who was born in London, England and raised in Canada. He began his musical journey by taking piano lessons as a child before being exposed to rap music during high school, citing influences including XXXTentacion and others. Oddoye’s breakthrough came with the release of his single “Hex” in 2018, which garnered significant attention and set the stage for his future releases. He continued to gain traction with subsequent singles such as “Betty Cooper”, “Tay!”, and “Corazón”. In 2019, he released his debut album Violet High. Following this, Oddoye released the EPs If Anything and Je Sais in 2022. His discography also includes the albums If Anything, Suite 96 (Side A), and Suite 96 (Side B) as well as the EP Wendy Said I Shouldn't Call Anymore.
