Isaac Gordon, known professionally as 1K Phew and formerly Future Kid, is a rapper born in 1995, originally from Stone Mountain, Georgia. He is best known for his eccentric style and versatility, often illustrated by a mix of melodic flows and rap cadences he originally called "new chuuch". As a teenager, he escaped a shootout and barely escaped with his life. After this incident, Gordon decided to devote himself fully to the Christian religion and to rap. He began recording and releasing free mixtapes, which also enabled him to collaborate with well-known Atlanta producers such as Zaytoven and Metro Boomin. In the summer of 2017, Phew had the opportunity to take part in Lecrae's song "Hammer Time", taken from the album All Things Work Together. His performance on this track brought him increased recognition, so much so that he toured with Lecrae himself and Aha Gazelle, before signing to Reach Records in October of the same year. Having become the label's first local artist, he released the Never Too Late mixtape in 2017 and produced the Georgia Shore EP (2018), followed by the What's Understood EP and the What's Understood 2 album in 2019. In 2021, he reunites with Lecrae for the joint album No Church in a While. In 2022, the album As I Am features guest appearances by Aha Gazelle, Tye Tribbett, Whatuprg, Jai'Len Josey, Jonathan McReynolds, Lecrae and Trip Lee. In 2024, 1K Phew collaborates with Zaytoven on the album Pray for Atlanta, followed by the hit "Move It!", charting at No. 47 on the Christian Songs chart.
