116 Clique, an American Southern Christian hip hop collective from Dallas, Texas, debuted in 2005 under Reach Records. The group's name is derived from Romans 1:16 and reflects their commitment to spreading the gospel through music. Their first release was The Compilation Album in December 2005, followed by a remixed version titled The Compilation Album: Chopped and Screwed in July 2006. In June 2007, they released their third album, 13 Letters, which charted at number 10 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart and number 29 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. The group also released a remixed EP titled Amped in August 2007. In September 2011, they released Man Up, a compilation album accompanied by a film directed by former member Sho Baraka. Notable tours include the Unashamed Tour (2012) and the Man Up: Movie & Concert Series (Fall 2011).
