Zombie Nation is a project created by German DJ and producer Florian Senfter. The group was formed in 1998, with their debut EP Leichenschmaus released on International DeeJay Gigolo Records in spring of 1999. The single "Kernkraft 400" from this release became a global hit, reaching number two in the United Kingdom. In 2003, Senfter launched his own label, Dekathlon Records, and released the album Absorber. He also began releasing tracks under the pseudonym John Starlight. In early 2005, the sublabel UKW Records was established, followed by the release of the album Black Toys in 2006 on UKW Records. Zombie Nation is known for their electronic music live acts, where Senfter uses musical hardware such as an Akai MPC 4000 Music sequencer to create sounds live on stage. In December 2009 and January 2010, Zombie Nation created a collaborative track titled "The Mind of Many" with contributions from fans via social media platforms. Throughout his career, Senfter has collaborated with various artists, including Tiga under the pseudonym ZZT, and released numerous albums and singles such as Leichenschmaus, Absorber, Black Toys, Zombielicious, "Souls At Zero", "Money Talks" and many more.
