Zining

Zhang Zining, known by the mononym Zining, is a Chinese singer. She was born on March 9, 1996, in Chengdu, Sichuan. She began her music career studying Music Performing at the Communication University of China and initially debuted as a member of the Chinese girl group MERA in 2017. The group released their first mini album "天生" under Mavericks Entertainment. In 2018, Zining participated in the Chinese reality survival show Produce 101 and secured the seventh position, subsequently joining the girl group Rocket Girls 101. During her time with Rocket Girls 101, Zining released her self-composed song "我们" and also contributed to soundtracks for various dramas. She officially graduated from Rocket Girls 101 in 2020. Zining then launched her solo career, releasing her first solo album 莫尔 (MORE) in 2021. The album was acclaimed for Zining's dynamic performances and featured various collaborations with notable artists such as A-Lin. Zining also released multiple theme songs for Chinese dramas and mobile games. In 2022, Zining released her second solo album Rec. X, featuring songs such as "余生有你 (Remaining)" and "漂流." In 2023, she collaborated with Hu Xia on the song "偏爱人间烟火," released as part of the soundtrack for the drama 长相思 Lost You Forever.
