Originally from Langhorne, Pennsylvania, rapper, musician and producer Matthew Cullen is better known by the pseudonym Zero 9:36. Born on May 11, 1997, he grew up in Philadelphia and took the name Zero on his underground rap debut, with the release of a mixtape entitled Paradise Campground in 2016. Signed by the Atco label, he changed his pseudonym to Zero 9:36 and released the EP You Will Not Be Saved in 2019, followed by the acoustic Barebones, Vol. 1 in 2020. With the album ...If You Don't Save Yourself, released in 2021, he defies musical genre categorization, navigating between rap, pop, rock, metal and industrial sounds. The opus, which invites Travis Barker, Clever and Hollywood Undead, is followed in 2022 by "Break" with Atreyu and "The End" with Scarlxrd. In 2024 follows the second album None of Us Are Getting Out and its multiple singles. His third album, They Were Always Here, released later that year, includes a new duet with Ekoh on "Withdrawals" and another with No Love for the Middle Child on "Make a Mess".
