YUSII

YUSII, formerly known as Zakinoke., is a Japanese singer-songwriter and rapper born on June 26, 1990. He began his music career while in high school, releasing videos and songs, and chose to pursue music full-time instead of attending university. Under the name Zakinoke., he gained early recognition in 2019 through TV Kanagawa’s Jirokken Kan-nana Fever and became a finalist on YouTube’s THE FIRST TAKE audition program in 2021, receiving praise from Seiji Kameda and Hama Okamoto. After moving from Hokkaido to Tokyo in late 2021, he released his first EP Identification in 2022, followed by singles like "In the Cell" and media appearances on J-WAVE. His major label debut came in 2023 with the single "Kare wa Dare Doki", theme song for the drama Gouriteki ni Arienai, followed by "Heat Island" and "Orange", the latter serving as a theme for Atari no Kitchen!. He also performed the anime ending "Mikansei"(2024) for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse. In April 2025, he rebranded as YUSII, debuting with the single "OMOKAGE" produced by Ryosuke "Dr.R" Sakai, marking a new phase in his evolving artistic identity.
