Blend House was a solo singer-songwriter project led by HiROKI, based in Tokushima, Japan. Working under the name Blend House, HiROKI developed a sound rooted in soul and house while drawing from the regional identity of Tokushima, often described as “Awa soul.” The project positioned itself at the intersection of groove-driven club music and songwriter-focused composition, balancing rhythmic warmth with a personal, understated vocal approach. On October 15, Blend House released the EP, Bochi Bochi Ikimasyou (2025), issued both digitally and on 12-inch vinyl, marking the project’s first full statement. The record brought together a small but carefully chosen circle of collaborators, including edbl, accobin (formerly of Chatmonchy), and SWING-O, each contributing to the EP’s layered yet relaxed character.
