Yurika Kubo

Yurika Kubo (久保ユリカ), born 19 May 1989 in Nara Prefecture, Japan, is a Japanese singer and voice actress who first gained prominence as the voice of Hanayo Koizumi in Love Live! and later pursued a solo music career. After training with Clare Voice, she debuted as a singer with the single "Lovely Lovely Strawberry", followed by SUMMER CHANCE!! on 17 August 2016, a single that reached Number 12 on the Japanese charts. The follow‑up EP ありがとうの時間 was released on 7 December 2016 and peaked at Number 14. In 2019, she released VIVID VIVID on 13 February, continuing her presence in the J‑pop scene. The 2021 EP 君なら君しか and the 2023 EP 可愛くって意地悪しちゃう expanded her catalog, with the latter issued on 24 May 2023. Throughout her career, Yurika Kubo collaborated with prominent artists such as Pile, Riho Iida, and Aya Uchida on Love Live! ending themes and contributed to video game soundtracks, including Idol Jihen and Genshin Impact. Her work earned her a nomination at the 9th Seiyū Awards for best voice performance, and her singles consistently charted in the top 20 of the Oricon weekly rankings.
