Yerzy

Roberto Fargue Isuiza, professionally known as Yerzy, was a rising voice in Peru’s trap scene, known for his gritty lyrics and emotional delivery rooted in the realities of life in Callao. He began uploading freestyles in 2022 and quickly caught attention with tracks like “Gas” and “Mango,” both produced by his longtime collaborator Louis Producer. In 2023 and early 2024, Yerzy expanded his catalog with standout singles such as “Me Hiciste Pecar,” “Dame Luz,” and the anthemic “Los Menores Ya Crecimos,” which garnered millions of streams across digital platforms and helped him build a loyal following. His final major release, the EP Yerzyxsiempre, compiled his most acclaimed work, including “Los Menores 2.0” and “Patrón De Qué?”, showcasing his introspective flow and street-rooted perspective. On November 12, 2024, Yerzy was tragically killed in a targeted shooting in Callao at just 20 years old, leaving a deep impact on Peru’s urban music community.
